Join us as J Davies presents 'The Future Feels Familiar', an evocative exhibition that delves into the intimate and personal through a unique collection of analogue and polaroid photographs. With a fly-on-the-wall approach, J invites viewers to witness vulnerable moments that foster genuine connections, exploring themes of queerness, joy, desire and safety amidst the cinematic sunsets and dimly-lit dance floors of Naarm.
In this exhibition, the work of LCI Melbourne Visual Arts student, Scarlett Mallia, will be showcased. Under the mentorship of J Davies, Scarlett is unveiling an ambitious project that examines intimacy within rave subculture, adding a fresh and dynamic perspective to the exhibition.
