Calculate your tuition fees
FEE-HELP
We are an Australian Government accredited Higher Education Institute, providing Australian Domestic students with access to FEE-HELP. FEE-HELP is a loan scheme that assists eligible students to pay their tuition fees.
Domestic Student Fee Conditions
Before enrolling, we encourage applicants to read LCI Melbourne's Policy on Tuition Fee Refunds in the Assurances section of this website.
Fees are billed per trimester (based on the number of units undertaken in that trimester)
Part-time students pay pro-rata fees. Please consult tuition fees for the units currently on offer.
Centrelink Payments: for Centrelink purposes, to be classified as a full-time student you are required to enrol in a minimum of a 75% load. Anything less than 75% load per trimester is deemed by Centrelink as part-time.
Additional Costs for Students to Consider
Students participating in LCI Melbourne's courses will incur additional costs throughout their degree. Students may need to purchase software, hardware, and materials for their projects, and will require access to a personal computer and an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription. Costs will vary depending on the major chosen and the scope of work the student decides to create. These costs are estimated to be between $2,000 and $5,000. For advice on additional costs for a particular major, please discuss this with an Admissions Advisor.
SCHOLARSHIPS
LCI Melbourne believes in supporting the next generation of creative visionaries. Our scholarship program aims to provide financial assistance and mentorship to help turn your dreams into reality.
Scholarship Support for Domestic Students
Domestic applicants will have the opportunity to qualify for a scholarship of $10,000 across the duration of their study ($5,000 per calendar year / $33.34 per credit). Award and maintenance of this scholarship is conditional upon students:
- Enrolling as full-time students (i.e., minimum study load of 40 credits per trimester).
- Providing evidence from one of the below categories:
- Moving from a regional or rural location to study at LCI Melbourne.
- Facing financial disadvantage.
- Having specific medical conditions or disabilities that may impact their studies.
- Being a mature-aged student.
- Maintaining ongoing continuous full-time enrolment for the duration of their course.
- Maintaining a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.4 (on a scale of 4) or above per trimester. If the GPA drops below 2.4 in any given trimester, students will pay the full tuition the following trimester. Students can regain the scholarship by achieving a GPA of 2.4 or higher in the next trimester.<
- Abiding by the LCIM Student Code of Conduct.
- On invitation, participating in LCIM events, activities, and promotions; LCIM has the right to ask you to contribute up to 100 hours of volunteer time for the program.
- Paying tuition fees on time.
Domestic students awarded and maintaining the scholarship would therefore pay $38,000 in total, or $19,000 per year for the course (or $126.66 per credit). Students applying for the scholarship may be asked to provide specific evidence to support their application.

The Indigenous Scholarship covers 25% of full-time tuition fees annually for students who are of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander descent.
