Emerge: Future Creators Art & Design Competition 2026

This is your chance to be recognised, exhibited, and celebrated at LCI Melbourne — one of Australia's most unique art, design, fashion and business institutes.

We invite you to submit one original digital artwork that responds to the theme EMERGE — new beginnings, becoming, change, and creative expression.

🖼️ THE CATEGORIES

Choose one category to enter:

• ART (Visual Arts and Photography) — Submit one original artwork as a high-resolution digital file (PNG and PDF). This can be a photograph, painting, drawing, mixed-media piece, or any visual artwork — submitted as a digital image.
• COMMUNICATION (Graphic Design) - Submit ONE original digital visual communication piece (PNG and PDF). This might be a poster, brand concept, typographic artwork, digital illustration, infographic, or any graphic design work. All submissions must be digital files.
• DESIGN (Interior Design) - Submit ONE original interior design concept as either a digital file (rendered image, digital illustration, or PDF) OR a 3D model (photo-documented or submitted digitally). Physical maquettes are accepted if submitted as high-quality photographs.
• FASHION (Fashion and Costume Design) — Submit ONE original fashion or costume design piece. This is the only category that accepts a physical garment — you may submit an actual garment for exhibition. Alternatively, you may submit a high-resolution digital image (PNG and PDF) of your design or completed piece. If submitting a physical garment, you will need to deliver it to LCI Melbourne during the designated bump-in period.

The work must be your own original creation and respond to the theme EMERGE.

🏆 FINALISTS & PRIZES

• Category winners: 20% scholarship toward an LCI Melbourne undergraduate course or Diploma, plus a creative prize pack
• All finalists: will have their work displayed in the Intermission Exhibition, running from Monday 17 August to Friday 18 September 2026

📥 HOW TO ENTER

Complete the form above and follow the instructions provided in the confirmation email you will receive after submission. Then, submit your work to our Admissions team with your full name, year level and school (if applicable), chosen category, artwork title, a description of up to 50 words, and the artwork in both high-res PNG and PDF formats. Parent/guardian consent is required for students under 18.
