Intermission Exhibition: Opening Night

Join us for the Intermission Exhibition Opening Night. A celebration of bold ideas, fresh perspectives, and the evolving journeys of LCI Melbourne's emerging artists and designers.

This special event showcases the work of our Design Lab 3 students as they reach the halfway point of their Bachelor of Design Arts. From visual art, design, fashion and more, discover an inspiring collection of projects that reflect the innovation and individuality of LCI Melbourne's creative community.

This year, the exhibition also welcomes Emerge — finalists and category winners from the Emerge: Future Creators Art & Design Competition 2026 will showcase their work alongside our Design Lab 3 students. Spanning Art, Communication, Design and Fashion, their pieces add a fresh wave of talent to the night. These rising secondary school talents offer a compelling glimpse into the next generation of visionary creators, with category winners announced on the evening.

Whether you're an art lover, industry professional, school teacher, or part of the LCI community, Opening Night is an invitation to encounter emerging voices and celebrate the power of art and design.
