For the second year running, LCI Melbourne's Fashion & Costume Design students are stepping into one of the most anticipated moments of Melbourne Fashion Week — the Student Collections Runway.
Eight LCI Melbourne students will present their work at Younghusband on Friday 23 October, sharing the runway with student designers from Box Hill Institute, RMIT School of Fashion and Textiles, and Whitehouse Institute of Design Australia — as part of M/FW 2026's Wear the Moment program, running 19–25 October across the city.

Each has spent the past trimester developing a collection from first concept through to final construction — work that, until the runway lights come up on the night, stays firmly under wraps.
Beyond the Runway: Fashion Capsules Across the City
LCI Melbourne's presence at M/FW doesn't end at Younghusband. Across the M/FW Fashion Capsules — five themed exhibitions running throughout the CBD from 28 September to 25 October — the work of LCI Melbourne alumni Margaret Hogan, Leah Wilkinson and Caroline Caroline will feature alongside current student Rebecca Turner, giving audiences a month-long window into the LCIM design story before the runway even begins.
