Let's collaborate!

As creative educators we are aware that arts and design-rich education fosters student confidence, creative skills and critical thinking across all learning areas and general life skills. At LCI, we are committed to fostering the next generation of creative professionals and believe that practical, industry facing initiatives at secondary school level sets students apart when seeking out creative study and career opportunities.

Check out our ongoing secondary school initiatives below and please contact us here with any questions or to book your class in for a workshop, tour or event!

School Kinship Program

The LCI Melbourne School Kinship Program has been designed to offer both local and regional school students the opportunity to experience contemporary practice across multiple creative disciplines. Explore new ideas, discuss current creative career environments and experience what it is like to study with LCI Melbourne.

These experiences are offered face-to-face and online, as a single or double periods and half day or full day sessions. We can facilitate these workshops as school excursions to our Collingwood campus, as well as incursions to your school for free.

In 2021, we worked with over 50 incredible high schools in Victoria! If you would like to review the full Kinship Menu and book your class in for 2022, please contact Todd Anthony.

Professional development for creative teachers

The LCI Melbourne Creative Education Teachers Day aspires to elevate your skills as art and design educators to inspire you, connect you with peers and empower you in the art-room to enhance student learning.

By attending our Creative Education Teachers Day, LCI Melbourne will contribute five hours of Professional Development (PD). We encourage careers practitioners to also join us for the event, all activities will offer a window into our higher education programs. Teachers who complete these modules for professional development will be equipped with the knowledge to assist in addressing various standards listed within the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.

If you are interested in undertaking this program, we invite you to contact Todd Anthony for our next available dates.
