A 6-week studio-based short course where participants develop a mini collection across three modules—concept design, garment realisation, and collection presentation.

About the Course
This hands-on short course guides participants through the full creative process—from concept development to garment construction and professional presentation—delivered across three progressive modules*:
Opportunities
Engage with industry-standard tools and creative technologies in a hands-on learning environment
Students gain access to 3D printers, sewing machines, and scanning equipment, with opportunities to explore pattern drafting, fabric sourcing, and styling using professional studio spaces.
Admissions Criteria
No prerequisites.
All students enrolling in an LCI Melbourne short course are required to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI), as mandated by the Australian Government. If you do not have a USI, you can create one at www.usi.gov.au.
Open to domestic students only.
Students must be 18 years or older at the commencement of the course.
Timetable
All Short Courses are 36hrs in total run on Saturdays 9am to 4pm.
