    What you will learn

    Across four sessions, participants apply sustainable thinking and circular design strategies through hands-on spatial planning, material selection, and iterative refinement. Sessions include:

      • Short Course (SHC)
      Green Spaces: Interior Design for a Sustainable Future
      Design thoughtful, human-centric interiors using sustainable and sensory-focused design principles.

    Course Outline

    • Human scale and zoning principles
    • Bubble diagrams and adjacency planning
    • Draft furniture layouts and circulation paths
    • Introduction to circular economy in interiors
    • Select sustainable finishes and materials
    • Apply low-impact choices to proposed plan
    • Draft interior elevations of key walls
    • Annotate finishes and materials
    • Consider lighting, joinery, and texture
    • Refine floor plans and elevations for clatiry
    • Peer review and feedback integration
    • Prepare annotated drawings for Module 3
