About the Course

This is a hands-on, skills-first diploma built for people who want to work in fashion — not just learn about it. Over one year, you'll move from garment conceptualisation right through to construction, branding, and distribution, building the technical know-how that employers actually value.

Studying online doesn't mean studying alone. You'll have access to virtual design studios, video demonstrations, iterative feedback from experienced mentors, and optional touchpoints on campus at LCI Melbourne. Everything is designed to be flexible without compromising on depth.

On completion, you'll also be eligible to apply for credit towards LCI Melbourne's Bachelor of Design Arts — so if you want to keep going, the pathway is right there.

Opportunities

Getting a job is at the heart of the LCI Melbourne experience. Alongside your studies, you'll have real opportunities to build your network and your portfolio through industry projects, student exhibitions, and VIP events — experiences that give you something concrete to talk about when you're applying for work.
