Step into the darkly beautiful world of Andrew Delaney in FRANKENSTEIN: Life Death Life. An evocative new exhibition exploring life, death, and everything in between.
Using vintage and discarded fabrics, Delaney transforms textiles into visceral works that hint at flesh, bone, and memory. Each piece invites you to look closer, to see beauty in the forgotten and the macabre.
This exhibition is the latest creation from the artist behind Anno Domini Home, a studio known for its theatrical, immersive works that embrace the strange and the sublime. Delaney’s art practice is shaped by a career in visual merchandising, corporate styling, and large-scale event design and it shows in every atmospheric detail.
Awarded the 2024 Marc Wasiak Fellowship in partnership with LCI Melbourne, Delaney has used this opportunity to delve into the themes of mortality and transformation, reimagining Mary Shelley’s iconic Frankenstein in fabric form.
Explore the exhibition from 23 June – 18 July at the LCI Melbourne campus. Plus, you meet the artist himself! Andrew Delaney will be in the gallery every Friday from 12–5 pm.
