Celebrating Nikki Edgar and Chi Weller
It is with great pride that we extend our heartfelt congratulations to Nikki Edgar and Chi Weller, two exceptionally talented Fashion & Costume students, for their acceptance into the Melbourne Fashion Hub Program for 2023.
The Melbourne Fashion Hub (MFH) is an initiative, the first of its kind in Australia, created by the visionary Julia Browne. Recognising a crucial gap between fashion education and the industry, Julia set out to bridge this divide and offer aspiring fashion students and recent graduates a unique opportunity to accelerate their careers.

It envisions these designers as innovators, disruptors, and pioneers of responsible and ethical work practices. By providing opportunities and support, MFH aims to help these talents realise their full potential, become active members of the fashion community, and contribute to broader thinking and the economy.
Nikki Edgar and Chi Weller's acceptance into the Melbourne Fashion Hub Program is not only a recognition of their potential but also a reflection of the exceptional talent nurtured at LCI Melbourne.
This achievement serves as a reminder that with determination, innovation, and a commitment to ethical practices, emerging designers can shape the future of the fashion industry.
