LCI Melbourne Graduates Shine at Festival LaSalle College
This week, Montreal hosted its annual Festival LaSalle College event, a celebration of creativity, innovation and emerging talent. Packed with Graduation Ceremonies, an enterprise conference and the highly anticipated Signature 24 fashion runway, this event draws parallels to our own Season of Excellence.
The Signature 24 runway showcased over 205 graduate student creations, providing audiences with a glimpse into the future of the fashion industry.
Hannah Maybury and Chi Weller, captivate audiences across a global platform.
Maybury's collection, which uses bio-dyeing techniques on natural fiber compositions, reflects a commitment to the protection and preservation of our planet. Weller's collection employs vegan leathers and upcycled design methods, emphasising the protection of animals and the environment. Together, these collections represent the culmination of years of dedication and artistic exploration, and we are thrilled to showcase their work on such a prestigious platform.
The future of the fashion industry.
The inclusion of Hannah and Chi's collections in the Signature 24 runway underscores their outstanding achievements and serves as a testament to their commitment to the craft. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Todd and the entire team for their invaluable support in facilitating this opportunity for these two graduates.
“I am extremely proud of both emerging designers and I know one day I will look at their career and say how lucky I was to be their mentor.”
Todd Anthony, Fashion & Costume mentor
