EMERGE highlights the transformative power of art, focusing on 10 visual arts students at the ‘emerging’ stage of becoming practicing artists. Through life-sized digital prints in a tableau style, Dean captures each student's essence, potential and creative evolution, offering a unique glimpse into the future of visual arts.

The Pingyao International Photography Festival, taking place September 2024, is a cornerstone event in the global photographic community. Drawing artists, curators and audiences from around the world, it provides a platform for unique works and serves as a creative space for cultural exchange. During the festival, Dean will be conducting workshops, lectures and artist talks, strengthening the connection between Melbourne and the international photographic community.
